it is written that the use of prepositions is important for the correct understanding of important and actual issues, in particular the issue of power, I am writing commentaries on the use of these prepositions. As a piece of advice on how to read the text, you can read the verse in translation and/or in the original (if you have the opportunity), and then the commentary on prepositions here. Next, you need to understand which part of the verse the commentary refers to, and consider what it affirms — or less often, denies — that is essential to understanding. This thoughtful reading helps to deepen understanding and protects against the mistakes mentioned above.
1 Peter II, 21, III, 9 — ‘εἰς τοῦτο (γὰρ) ἐκλήθητε’ - ‘eis touto (gar) eklethete’ - ‘(for) to this you have been called’. The preposition ‘eis’ indicates a movement towards that to which we are called.
1 Peter II, 22 — ‘ἐν τῷ στόματι’ - ‘en to stomati’ - ‘in the mouth’.
1 Peter II, 24 — ‘ἀνήνεγκεν ἐν τῷ σώματι αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ξύλον’ - ‘anenenken en to somati autou epi to xylon’ - ‘He lifted up with His body on a tree’.
1 Peter III, 2 — ‘ἐν φόβῳ’ - ‘en phobo’ - ‘in fear’. Read more about the fear of God here:

1 Peter III, 4 — ‘ἐν τῷ ἀφθάρτῳ τοῦ πραέως καὶ ἡσυχίου πνεύματος’ - ‘en to aphtharto tou praeos kai hesykhiou pneumatos’ - ‘in an imperishable, in that of the meek and quiet spirit’. It is a complex phrase that means that the heart of that person is established in the imperishable, eternal, which does not pass away but will last forever, and that person is of a meek and quiet spirit. God, who will bestow eternity on all people, sees the preciousness of this state for a person. In this sense, these words have many parallels with the words of Christ on various occasions.
1 Peter III, 5 — ‘ἐλπίζουσαι εἰς θεὸν’ - ‘elpizousai eis theon’ - ‘hoping into (to, towards) God’. In other words, ‘moving in hope towards God as the Goal’.
1 Peter III, 7 — ‘εἰς τὸ μὴ ἐνκόπτεσθαι τὰς προσευχὰς’ - ‘eis to me enkoptesthai tas proseukhas’ - ‘so that the high prayers may not be cut off’. Peter compares a long life in high prayers to a tree with branches, and teaches us to avoid anything that might disrupt it.

Mark XII, 14 — ‘εἰς πρόσωπον ἀνθρώπων’ - ‘eis prosopon anthropon’ - ‘into the face of man’. That is, ‘you don't try to fit in
with social expectations’.

Hebrews IX, 12 — ‘εἰς τὰ ἅγια’ - ‘eis ta hagia’ - ‘into the sanctuary’.
Hebrews IX, 14 — ‘ἀπὸ νεκρῶν ἔργων’ - ‘apo nekron ergon’ - ‘from dead works’. The preposition ‘apo’ indicates complete deliverance from those deeds. ‘εἰς τὸ λατρεύειν θεῷ ζῶντι’ - ‘eis to latreuein theo zonti’ - ‘to minister to the living God’. The preposition ‘eis’ indicates the purpose.
