🇬🇧 Glory be to Jesus Christ! 🌞
Ephesians V, 29 – ‘εμισησεν’ – ‘emisesen’ – (did not) ‘hate’ – from ‘μισεω’ – ‘miseo’ – ‘to hate’.
A direct continuation of yesterday’s reading, which can be found at
the link with which verses 25-26 are in common:

There is a lot written (albeit briefly) at the link above and others
cited there. In today’s reading, Paul emphasises that spouses are one
body, and that the faithful are the Body of Christ, i.e. the Church.
There is a parallel here to the Old Testament (verse 30 – Genesis II,
22-23), which is written about in more detail here:

The union of Christ and the Church is the model, the design according to which the first humans were created and according to which the marital relationship should be.
Paul again emphasises that from the union of Christ and the Church, spouses can draw gracious strength for marital love, to which the apostle calls.
There is also a parallel here with one of the two main commandments
of love – love your neighbour as yourself.

explanation of this commandment and its understanding, please follow

The depth of the Mystery of Christ and the Church is inexhaustible. And from it, the mystery of human marriage is filled with more and more depth and meaning.
Paul speaks of love-agape, built on values.
Paul also reminds us again of Christ’s words about marriage. See the
link and others quoted there:

He concludes again with a call to mutual love and deep respect (which
is what the apostle means when he speaks of fear). See also the

Luke VI, 48 – ‘θεμελιον’ – ‘themelion’ – that
which belongs to the foundation; the foundation; the ground
.
Luke VI, 49 – ‘θεμελιου’ – ‘themeliou’ – that which belongs to the
foundation; the foundation; the ground
.

The conclusion of the Sermon on the Mount in Luke is similar to that of the parallel passage in Matthew.
See about that parallel passage (Matthew VII, 24 – VIII, 4) here:

Glory be to Thee, our God, glory be to Thee!
