1 Corinthians IV:17 — ‘ἐν κυρίῳ’ - ‘en kyrio’ - ‘in the Lord’. ‘ἐν Χριστῷ’ - ‘en CHristo’ - ‘in Christ’. ‘ἐν πάσῃ ἐκκλησίᾳ’ - ‘en pase ekklesia’ - ‘in every Church’.
1 Corinthians IV, 20 — ‘ἐν λόγῳ’ - ‘en logo’ - ‘in the word’. ‘ἐν δυνάμει’ - ‘en dynamei’ - ‘in strength’.
1 Corinthians IV, 21 — ‘ἐν ῥάβδῳ’ - ‘en rabdo’ - ‘in a stick; (with; by) a stick’. ‘ἐν ἀγάπῃ’ - ‘en agape’ - ‘in love; (with; by) love’. Here, the second translation is more correct in terms of meaning and grammar.
1 Corinthians V, 1 — ‘ἐν ὑμῖν’ - ‘en ymin’ - ‘in you’. ‘ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν’ - ‘en tois ethnesin’ - ‘among the nations; among the Gentiles’.
1 Corinthians V, 2 — ‘ἐκ μέσου’ - ‘ek mesou’ - ‘from within; from among; within’. A common expression with the meaning of the second or third translation.
1 Corinthians V:4 — ‘ἐν τῷ ὀνόματι’ - ‘en to onomati’ - ‘in the name’.
1 Corinthians V, 5 — ‘εἰς ὄλεθρον’ - ‘eis olethron’ - ‘to perdition; for perdition; to destruction’. The preposition ‘eis’ here indicates where it is directed to. ‘ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ’ - ‘en te emera’ - ‘in the day’.
