it is written that the use of prepositions is important for the correct understanding of important and actual issues, in particular the issue of power, I am writing commentaries on the use of these prepositions. As a piece of advice on how to read the text, you can read the verse in translation and/or in the original (if you have the opportunity), and then the commentary on prepositions here. Next, you need to understand which part of the verse the commentary refers to, and consider what it affirms — or less often, denies — that is essential to understanding. This thoughtful reading helps to deepen understanding and protects against the mistakes mentioned above.
Philippians II, 16 — ‘εἰς καύχημα’ - ‘eis kaukhema’ - ‘for praise’. The preposition ‘eis’ here indicates the purpose of the action. ‘εἰς ἡμέραν Χριστοῦ’ - ‘eis hemeran CHristou’ - ‘on the day of Christ’. Here the preposition ‘eis’ indicates the approach of the Second Coming. ‘εἰς κενὸν’ - ‘eis kenon’ - ‘in vain’. A common expression.
Philippians II, 19 — ‘ἐν κυρίῳ’ - ‘en kyrio’ - ‘in the Lord’.
Philippians II, 22 — ‘εἰς τὸ εὐαγγέλιον’ - ‘eis to euangelion’ - ‘in the Gospel; for the Gospel’. Both translations are possible, the first emphasising unity and cooperation in ministry, and the second - a common goal.

Luke XII, 42 — ‘ἐν καιρῷ’ - ‘en kairo’ - ‘in time; in season’. A common expression.
Luke XII, 45 — ‘ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ’ - ‘en te kardia’ - ‘in the heart’.
Luke XII, 46 — ‘ἐν ἡμέρᾳ’ - ‘en hemera’ - ‘in the day’. ‘ἐν ὥρᾳ’ - ‘en hora’ - ‘in the hour’.
Luke XII, 48 — ‘παρ’ αὐτοῦ' - par autou

. The preposition ‘para’ in its form before the following vowel is here with the genitive case, a similar construction is found in the words concerning the proceeding of the Holy Spirit from the Father, when speaking of the human nature of Christ. It can be thought that since a person has been given God's gifts through the Son of God and the Holy Spirit, the Lord expects those who have been given much to be like Christ, to have the godlikeness and fruits of the Holy Spirit, so that the person's life, holiness, and fruits are like the Holy Spirit, and the person is like the Father, from whom the Spirit proceeds, in His excellence.
