Christ Is Risen!

With the Bright Monday!

Easter marks the beginning of a new cycle of Bible readings, in fact, the ‘liturgical’ New Year. However, the Church year begins in September, which is linked to the ancient Roman state.

Also, from Easter to Pentecost, the countdown of weekly days begins on Sundays, because the resurrection is the beginning and eternity of renewed life (the well-known image of the eighth day, which is also the first, just as the eternal Kingdom of God is called by many the eighth eternal day (six days of creation, the seventh now and the eighth is the Kingdom of God), in which there will be no sunset, because the Lord will be the Sun, see. Revelation XXII, 3-5; Matthew XIII, 43; XVII, 2).

(Acts I, 12-17, 21-26)
Acts I, 15 — ‘ἡμέραις’ - ‘emerais’ - ‘to the days’ (days).

Acts I, 17, 21, 22 — ‘ἡμῖν’ - ‘emin’ - ‘to us’ (us). ‘ἡμᾶς’ - ‘emas’ - ‘us’. ‘ἡμέρας’ - ‘emeras’ - ‘day’. ‘ἡμῶν’ - ‘emon’ - ‘us’.
