1 Thessalonians II, 20, III, 2, 5, 6, 7 - 'ἡμῶν' - 'emon' - 'us' (our, ours).
1 Thessalonians III, 4 - 'ἦμεν' - 'emen' - 'were'.
1 Thessalonians III, 6 - 'ἡμᾶς' - 'emas' - 'us'. 'ἡμῖν' - 'emin' - (to) 'us'. 'ἡμεῖς' - 'emeis' - 'we'.
There is also a parallel passage in Acts XIV, 22, which I wrote about here:

In general, Paul encourages and strengthens the readers (listeners) and writes about the intentions of the apostles. Paul also testifies again that the good life of the faithful is a joy and praise for the apostles, and more generally for teachers.
Luke's unique tradition.
The same logic is found in the work at the link, and is generally characteristic of Luke's reasoning:

The Lord calls for unselfishness in doing good.
If a person does good in the hope of being rewarded by people, then this expectation makes them a part of a completely human relationship, in which there is also room for sins and passions, for everything that is beyond the Gospel. And even if a person is not tempted by these, the expectation itself is already a source of disappointment, or a source of excessive hope in people, or a source of uncertainty and anxiety. In short, even if a person does not sin directly, they are shaken
by this uncertainty about people.
A person who does good for the sake of the Lord must be sure that they will receive good from God. Indeed, as it is said elsewhere, such a person will not lose their reward
.
