Conclusion of the 2nd Epistle of the apostle Paul to Timothy.
2 Timothy IV, 11, 17 — 'ἐμοῦ' - 'emou' - 'me'.
2 Timothy IV:15 — 'ἡμετέροις' - 'emeterois' - 'our'.
2 Timothy IV:20 — 'ἔμεινεν' - 'emeinen' - 'remained'.
Paul writes about the state of his preaching, about his co-workers, asks Timothy for help, and testifies to his work despite difficulties and persecution for Christ. Luke, my beloved saint, apostle and evangelist, is mentioned, as well as the other 70 apostles who helped Paul. Paul also warns about the particular resistance of Alexander the blacksmith, so that Timothy would know that he was very opposed. Paul does not wish God's judgement on Alexander, but testifies that there will be judgement (future tense: the Lord will give him back…
).
The letter concludes with wishes and greetings.
Mark VIII, 31 — 'ἡμέρας' - 'emeras' - 'days'.
