Zechariah VIII, 19 — 'wehaemet' - therefore, the truth
- from 'emeth' - certainty, truth, verity, fidelity, worthiness of trust
- in the Hebrew original feminine.
Zechariah VIII, 23 — 'immakem' - 'with you' - from 'im' - 'with'.
Here we can also notice a very deep thought that human beings are intended by God as truth, as peace, as trustworthiness, as certainty and faith. After all, the commandments say: You shall love the Lord… you shall love man... You shall love truth and peace...
. And so, God intended that human beings should be the truth and peace, because it pleased God to reveal His truth to people and in human beings — first and foremost in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, Who is the Original Image for every human being, created in the image of God.
