A Lot of Joy from God!

Dedicated to Emma Kok.

(Titus I, 15 — II, 10)
Titus II, 6 — 'παρακάλει' - 'parakalei' - 'entreat; comfort; encourage; exhort'. We can see the diversity of ways to encourage young people to be temperate, prudent, and wise.

Titus II, 8, 10 — 'ἡμῶν' - 'emon' - 'us' (our).

The Apostle Paul teaches everyone about godliness in short but meaningful words. The words are not accidentally connected by the way they came to Paul's mind, but their sequence indicates the way of learning and acquiring different virtues.

In relation to women and men, Paul uses a word that means close relationships, friendship, and emotional love, i.e. that women should be the closest friends of their husbands. On listening — see this link for more information on this issue:

Regarding slaves and masters — I have written earlier on the relevant passages in the Epistles to the Ephesians, Colossians and Timothy.

(Mark IX, 33-41)
Mark IX, 37 — 'ἐμὲ' - 'eme' - 'Me'.

Mark IX, 38 — 'ἡμῖν' - 'emin' - (to) 'us' ((with) us).

Mark IX, 40 — 'ἡμῶν' - 'emon' - 'us'.

For a parallel passage in Matthew (Matthew XVIII, 1-5), see the link:

In general, I wrote about the reading in detail at the following link (analysing both the opinion and the translation, which, moreover, is inaccurate in Ukrainian):
