The Apostle Paul testifies to the hope in the Lord, even when one is not properly wakeful. The Lord cares for the faithful in a special way, but if they are inattentive, this does not help to bring them closer to God, but distances them from Him, which is why we should avoid it.
The Apostle Paul also calls for respect for those who work in the Lord's field, including Church ministers, and all those who labour for the Lord in goodness and truth.
The letter concludes with a request for prayers and greetings.
The holy kiss
is a friendly gesture of welcome, a sign of Christian love and community.
