Glory Be to Jesus Christ!

(Ephesians V, 20-26)
Ephesians V, 20 — ā€˜į¼Ī½ į½€Ī½ĻŒĪ¼Ī±Ļ„Ī¹ā€™ - ā€˜en onomati’ - ā€˜in the name; by the name’. Rather the former than the latter, since it is not clear how to do the latter.

Ephesians V, 21 — ā€˜į¼Ī½ Ļ†ĻŒĪ²įæ³ Ī§ĻĪ¹ĻƒĻ„Īæįæ¦ā€™ - ā€˜en phobo CHristou’ - ā€˜in the fear of Christ’. The ā€˜fear of Christ’ is the same as the ā€˜fear of God’, about which more is available here:

Ephesians V, 24 — ā€˜į¼Ī½ παντί’ - ā€˜en panti’ - ā€˜in everything’.

Ephesians V, 26 — ā€˜į¼Ī½ ῄήματι’ - ā€˜en remati’ - ā€˜in the word; in the matter; by the word; by the matter’. A word and in general an expression with many meanings, but it is definitely not just about words, but about the essence of the matter.

(Luke XI, 1-10)
Luke XI, 1 — ā€˜į¼Ī½ τῷ εἶναι’ - ā€˜en to einai’ - ā€˜in being’. That is, ā€˜when; during’. ā€˜į¼Ī½ Ļ„ĻŒĻ€įæ³ā€™ - ā€˜en topo’ - ā€˜in a place’.

Luke XI, 2 — the words ā€˜ours Who is in heaven’ are not found in many manuscripts.

Luke XI, 4 — ā€˜Īµį¼°Ļ‚ Ļ€ĪµĪ¹ĻĪ±ĻƒĪ¼ĻŒĪ½ā€™ - ā€˜eis peirasmon’ - ā€˜into temptation; into testing’. In the ancient Greek language, ā€˜temptation’ and ā€˜trial’ are the same word.

Luke XI, 5 — ā€˜į¼Ī¾ ὑμῶν’ - ā€˜ex ymon’ - ā€˜of you’. The preposition ā€˜ek’ in its form before the next vowel indicates where the choice is made from.

Luke XI, 6 — ā€˜į¼Ī¾ ὁΓοῦ’ - ā€˜ex odou’ - ā€˜from the road’. That is, ā€˜from where?’.

Luke XI, 7 — ā€˜Īµį¼°Ļ‚ τὓν κοίτην’ - ā€˜eis ten koiten’ - ā€˜in bed’.
