Glory Be to Jesus Christ!

1 Corinthians XV, 31 — ‘ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ’ - ‘en CHristo Iesou’ - ‘in Christ Jesus’.
1 Corinthians XV, 32 — ‘ἐν Ἐφέσῳ’ - ‘en Epheso’ - ‘in Ephesus’.

Matthew XXI, 23, 24, 27 — ‘εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν’ - ‘eis to ieron’ - ‘into the temple; to the temple’. ‘ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ’ - ‘en poia exousia’ - ‘in what authority; by what power’. Both translations are possible, although the second is generally accepted. The first indicates that the elders of the people understood Jesus as ‘clothed in authority’, i.e. not the Source of authority, God, but simply a man. The second emphasises the instrumental nature of power.
Matthew XXI, 25, 26 — ‘ἐξ οὐρανοῦ’ - ‘ek ouranou’ - ‘from heaven’. ‘ἐξ ἀνθρώπων’ - ‘ex anthropon’ - ‘from men’. The preposition ‘ek’ (‘ex’ before a vowel) in both cases indicates origin. ‘παρ’ ἑαυτοῖς' - par eautois
- near to oneself
. This place in other lists is ‘en’, i.e. ‘in oneself’.
