(2 Corinthians I, 21-II, 4)
2 Corinthians I, 21 — ‘εἰς Χριστὸν’ - ‘eis CHriston’ - ‘’into Christ‘’. The preposition ‘eis’ here emphasises the movement towards Christ, the gradual likening to Him.

2 Corinthians I, 22 — ‘ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις’ - ‘en tais kardiais’ - ‘in the heart’.

2 Corinthians I, 23 — ‘εἰς Κόρινθον’ - ‘eis Korinthon’ - ‘’in Corinth‘’.

2 Corinthians II, 1 — ‘ἐν λύπῃ’ - ‘en lype’ - ‘in sorrow’.

2 Corinthians II, 2 — ‘ἐξ ἐμοῦ’ - ‘ex emou’ - ‘from me’. That is, ‘the cause or reason for which I was’.

2 Corinthians II, 3 — ‘ἀφ’ ὧν' - aph on - from those. The preposition ‘apo’ in its form before the next vowel here indicates that the apostle would find cause for rejoicing rather than them trying to make him happy.

2 Corinthians II, 4 — ‘ἐκ γὰρ πολλῆς θλίψεως καὶ συνοχῆς’ - ‘ek gar polles thlipseos kai synokhes’ - ‘for out of great sorrow and longing’. That is, ‘for the reason’. ‘εἰς ὑμᾶς’ - ‘eis ymas’ - ‘’in you; to you‘’. In other words, ‘regarding you’.

(Luke VI, 31-36)
Luke VI, 34 — ‘παρ’ ὧν' - par on - from beside those; from those. The second option is easier to use. It indicates the reality and significance of the cause of what is described.
