Glory Be to Jesus Christ!
☀️
Since yesterday was a great holiday, some of the readings from yesterday have been moved to today, so I am giving the references in brackets together.
Galatians III, 2, 5 — ‘ἀφ’ ὑμῶν - ‘aph ymon’ - ‘from you’. The preposition ‘apo’ in its form before a vowel indicates here that the emphasis is on the answer itself, not on anything else (only the answer to the question is required). ‘ἐξ ἔργων’ - ‘ex ergon’ - ‘from deeds’. ‘ἐξ ἀκοῆς’ - ‘ex akoes’ - ‘from preaching’. The preposition ‘ek’ in its form before the following vowel indicates here what served to receive the Holy Spirit in reality.
Galatians III, 5 — ‘ἐν ὑμῖν’ - ‘en ymin’ - ‘in you’.
Galatians III, 6 — ‘εἰς δικαιοσύνην’ - ‘eis dikaiosynen’ - ‘into righteousness’. That is, to what he was led.
Galatians III, 7, 22, 24 — ‘ἐκ πίστεως’ - ‘ek pisteos’ - ‘from faith’. That has its source in faith.
Galatians III, 17 — ‘ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ’ - ‘hypo tou theou’ - ‘under God; through God’. The preposition ‘hypo’ with the genitive case. Romans XIII has a similar expression in relation to authority, which I wrote about in detail in a whole work. See the link:

This implies that the covenant was made separately in a special way. ‘εἰς τὸ καταργῆσαι’ — ‘eis to katargesai’ - ‘in order to nullify, to reject’. That is, it does not lead to that.
Galatians III, 18, 21 — ‘ἐκ νόμου’ - ‘ek nomou’ - ‘from the law’. ‘ἐξ ἐπαγγελίας’ - ‘ex epangelias’ - ‘from the promise’. The preposition ‘ek’ in its various forms here emphasises the source of the inheritance, by virtue of what.
Galatians III, 19 — ‘ἐν χειρὶ’ - ‘en kheiri’ - ‘in the hand; by the hand’. The second option is more likely, as it is much clearer.
Galatians III, 22 — ‘ὑπὸ ἁμαρτίαν’ - ‘hypo amarian’ - ‘under sin’. Here ‘hypo’ is with the accusative.
Galatians III, 23, IV, 4, 5 — ‘ὑπὸ νόμον’ - ‘hypo nomon’ - ‘under the Law’. Here ‘hypo’ is with the accusative. ‘εἰς τὴν μέλλουσαν πίστιν’ - ‘eis ten mellousan pistin’ - ‘for the faith that came’. Here it indicates the purpose.
Galatians III, 24 — ‘εἰς Χριστόν’ - ‘eis CHriston’ - ‘in Christ; for Christ’. Both translations are possible.
Galatians III, 25 — ‘ὑπὸ παιδαγωγόν’ - ‘hypo paidagogon’ - ‘under a tutor’. Here ‘hypo’ is with the accusative.
Galatians III, 26, 28 — ‘ἐν Χριστῷ’ - ‘en CHristo’ - ‘in Christ’.
Galatians III, 27 — ‘εἰς Χριστὸν’ - ‘eis CHriston’ - ‘into Christ'. It indicates the direction of change and the likening. The ending would be better translated ‘’they put on Christ‘’.
Galatians IV, 2 — ‘ὑπὸ ἐπιτρόπους’ - ‘hypo epitropous’ - ‘under guards’. Here ‘hypo’ is with the accusative.
Galatians IV, 3 — ‘ὑπὸ τὰ στοιχεῖα’ - ‘hypo ta stoikheia’ - ‘under the elements’. Here ‘hypo’ is with the accusative.
Galatians IV, 4 — ‘ἐκ γυναικός’ - ‘ek gynaikos’ - ‘from a woman’.

Luke VI, 38 — ‘εἰς τὸν κόλπον’ - ‘eis ton kolpon’ - ‘into the bosom’.
Luke VI, 39 — ‘εἰς βόθυνον’ - ‘eis bothynon’ - ‘into the pit’.
Luke VI, 41, 42 — ‘ἐν τῷ (ἰδίῳ) ὀφθαλμῷ’ - ‘en to (idio) ophthalmo’ - ‘in (own) eye’.
Luke VI, 42 — ‘ἐκ τοῦ ὀφθαλμοῦ’ - ‘ek tou ophthalmou’ - ‘out of the eye’.
Luke VI, 44 — ‘ἐκ τοῦ ἰδίου καρποῦ’ - ‘ek tou idiou karpou’ - ‘from its own fruit’. ‘ἐξ ἀκανθῶν’ - ‘ex akanthon’ - ‘from the thorns’. ‘ἐκ βάτου’ - ‘ek batou’ - ‘from the bramble bush’.
Luke VI, 45 — ‘ἐκ τοῦ ἀγαθοῦ θησαυροῦ’ - ‘ek tou agathou thesaurou’ - ‘from the good (in general, in the end) treasury’. ‘ἐκ τοῦ πονηροῦ’ - ‘ek tou ponerou’ - ‘from the bad (in general, in the end)’. ‘ἐκ γὰρ περισσεύματος’ - ‘ek gar perisseumatos’ - ‘because of the overcrowding’. In the first two cases, it indicates the movement from whence, and in the last case, it indicates the cause. The abundance of the heart is the cause of the words. See more about this here:

Luke VII, 1 — ‘εἰς Καφαρναούμ’ - ‘eis Kapharnaoum’ - ‘into Capernaum’.
