Hebrews XI, 30 — 'ἡμέρας' - 'emeras' - 'days'.
The second part of the reading briefly reminds us of three stories from the Old Testament — about Moses, the capture of Jericho, and the salvation of Rahab the prostitute, who became part of the Israelites and the genealogy of Jesus Christ, Who came to call sinners to repentance and save them. I will not dwell on these in detail, since each requires a separate consideration, but here Paul briefly emphasises the content and meaning of the events.
