The Apostle John, writing about the discernment of spirits, writes for Christians, for believers. Therefore, he does not explain in detail and does not address non-Christians directly, so he does not provide evidence that the apostles know the truth. He is addressing those who believe the apostles, so that the faithful do not listen to false teachers and believe in error.
Mark XIV, 49 — 'ἡμέραν' - 'emeran' - 'day' (daily).
Mark XIV, 58 — 'ἡμεῖς' - 'emeis' - 'we'. 'ἡμερῶν' - 'emeron' - 'days'.
Mark XIV, 62 — 'εἰμι' - 'eimi' - (I) 'am'. It is used for emphasis.
Mark XIV, 65 — 'ἐμπτύειν' - 'emptyein' - 'spat on' - from 'ἐμπτύω'.
Mark XIV, 67 — 'ἐμβλέψασα' - 'emblepsosa' - 'looking at, looking into' - from 'ἐμβλέπω'.
