it is written that the use of prepositions is important for the correct understanding of important and actual issues, in particular the issue of power, I am writing commentaries on the use of these prepositions. As a piece of advice on how to read the text, you can read the verse in translation and/or in the original (if you have the opportunity), and then the commentary on prepositions here. Next, you need to understand which part of the verse the commentary refers to, and consider what it affirms — or less often, denies — that is essential to understanding. This thoughtful reading helps to deepen understanding and protects against the mistakes mentioned above.
2 Corinthians I, 8 — ‘ἐν τῇ Ἀσίᾳ’ - ‘en te Asia’ - ‘in Asia’.
2 Corinthians I, 9 — ‘ἐν ἑαυτοῖς’ - ‘en heautois’ - ‘in themselves’.
2 Corinthians I, 10 — ‘ἐκ τηλικούτου θανάτου’ - ‘ek telikoutou thanatou’ - ‘from such a death’. The preposition ‘ek’ here indicates that Paul and his fellow ministers had fully expected to die, but the Lord delivered them from it. ‘εἰς ὃν’ - ‘eis hon’ - ‘’in Him; on Him‘’. The second version of the translation is more accurate.
2 Corinthians I, 11 — ‘ἐκ πολλῶν προσώπων’ - ‘ek pollon prosopon’ - ‘from many persons’. The preposition ‘ek’ indicates that the gift was sincere and significant. ‘εἰς ἡμᾶς’ - ‘eis hemas’ - ‘’in us; to us‘’. Both translations are possible.

Luke IX, 37 — ‘ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους’ - ‘apo tou orous’ - ‘from the mountain; from the hill’. The preposition ‘apo’ indicates that they left the mountain or hill.
Luke IX, 38 — ‘ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄχλου’ - ‘apo tou okhlou’ - ‘from the people’. The preposition ‘apo’ indicates that the man stood out from the crowd.
Luke IX, 39 — ‘ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ' - ap autou
- from him
. The preposition ‘apo’ in its form before the next vowel indicates that the evil spirit is departing.
