A Lot of Joy from God!

🇬🇧 Glory be to Jesus Christ! 🌞💙💛

(Matthew XXI, 18-43)

Christ shows His authority and power as a King - on the example of a plant that does not have a soul, so as not to show it on the example of a creature with a soul – this shows His mercy. There is also an important lesson here about faith.

About faith in this place, and also about the fig tree, there is a good essay at the link:

The authority of Jesus is well written at the following links:

The explanation of Jesus’ words about publicans and harlots can be found at the link in the part that talks about Matthew’s calling:

The parable of the criminal winemakers is briefly explained at the link:

The quote about the cornerstone in particular is found in the prophet Isaiah XXVIII, 16 and Psalm CXIX, 22. Earlier I wrote about the context of the prophecy in Isaiah:

About the words about the destruction of the temple is written in the link, as well as about the fact that the Coming of Christ will be obvious to everyone (about lightning):

Matthew XXIV, 12 is well written at the link in Ukrainian:
https://oleksandr-zhabenko.github.io/uk/Matthew24-12.html

abomination of desolation is mentioned in Daniel IX, 27, XI, 31, XII, 11. Places are still unclear.

Matthew XXIV, 19 – Woe to pregnant women and those who nurse in those dayspregnant – εν γαστρι εχουσαις – ‘en gastri echousais’ - it will be difficult for them to escape because there are children. Woe does not mean a threat, but compassion, the Lord sincerely sympathizes with them. A parallel place in Luke XXIII, 28-31. But there the Greek text contains other words: Luke XXIII, 29 – κοιλιαι – koiliai - belly, womb.

The leaves of trees are well written on the links:
