it is written that the use of prepositions is important for the correct understanding of important and actual issues, in particular the issue of power, I am writing commentaries on the use of these prepositions. As a piece of advice on how to read the text, you can read the verse in translation and/or in the original (if you have the opportunity), and then the commentary on prepositions here. Next, you need to understand which part of the verse the commentary refers to, and consider what it affirms — or less often, denies — that is essential to understanding. This thoughtful reading helps to deepen understanding and protects against the mistakes mentioned above.

Mark VII, 6 — ‘ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ' - ap emou

. The preposition ‘apo’ in its form before the next vowel indicates that the people had become very distant and out of touch with God.
Mark VII, 11 — ‘ἐξ ἐμοῦ ὠφεληθῇς’ - ‘ex emou ophelethes’ - ‘from me mght have used’. The preposition ‘ek’ indicates that it is something valuable to the person who owns it, something essential.
Mark VII, 12 — ‘οὐκέτι ἀφίετε αὐτὸν οὐδὲν ποιῆσαι’ - ‘ouketi aphiete auton ouden poiesai’ - ‘(since then) you release (forgive, allow) him (her) to do nothing (not to do anything)'. In other words, the Pharisees allow and forgive if the child does nothing to help the parents, allegedly for the sake of God (in fact, as researchers note, it could be a fictitious gift to God, it could remain in the use of the owner).
Mark VII, 15 — ‘εἰς αὐτὸν’ - ‘eis auton’ - ‘with her (a person)’. ‘τὰ ἐκ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου’ - ‘ta ek tou anthropou’ - ‘those that are from human being’. The preposition ‘ek’ in connection with the preceding ‘eis’ here indicates where those things that are referred to later as the cause of the defilement of the human being come from.
