Regarding the widow's gift, the Lord looks at the heart; human's giving to God begins in the heart and must always be related to the heart. The commandment to love God begins: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart…
. If a person — here a poor widow - decides to give God even a small gift out of love, even if it is not worth much because of their poverty, then the heart is more valuable to God. He does not need money and donations, but wants to live in the hearts of people, or better yet, wants people to live in God, in love.
