(John VII, 14-30)
The Feast of Tabernacles, which is associated with living in tents, and in relation to which the Feast of the Mid-Pentecost is today, reminds us of the renewal of human nature and the gifts of the Holy Spirit that the Lord bestows on the faithful. The tent is a symbol of the spiritual heaven, the firmament, it is also a symbol of the human body, which is full of hope, and the Transfiguration in the Kingdom of God, and the water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit given to people. The feast and the teaching of Christ also testify to eternal life in the resurrection and the sanctification of humans, including in the present time.
