Philippians I, 8 — ‘ἐν σπλάγχνοις’ - ‘en splankhnois’ - ‘in the inward parts; in the heart; inwardly; by the inward parts’. All translations are possible, since deep feelings are implied.
Philippians I, 9 — ‘ἐν ἐπιγνώσει’ - ‘en epignosei’ - ‘in cognition; by cognition’. Both translations are possible. The first indicates knowledge as something on the background of which it is good to develop love, and the second indicates that the true knowledge of God, Christ, leads, brings, causes love.
Philippians I, 10 — ‘εἰς τὸ δοκιμάζειν’ - ‘eis to dokimazein’ - ‘for they prove; for they experience; for they approve after testing’. These are somewhat polysemous words, but they are still quite clear from the context. ‘εἰς ἡμέραν’ - ‘eis hemeran’ - ‘on the day’. The preposition ‘eis’ here indicates that the Day of Christ is approaching.
Philippians I, 11 — ‘εἰς δόξαν’ - ‘eis doxan’ - ‘to glory; for glory’. The preposition ‘eis’ here indicates the purpose.
Philippians I, 12 — ‘εἰς προκοπὴν’ - ‘eis prokopen’ - ‘for advancement; for progress’. Here, too, the preposition ‘eis’ indicates a purpose.
Philippians I, 13 — ‘ἐν Χριστῷ’ - ‘en CHristo’ - ‘in Christ’. ‘ἐν ὅλῳ τῷ πραιτωρίῳ’ - ‘en olo to praitorio’ - ‘in the whole praetorium’ (i.e. the palace in Jerusalem, occupied by the Romans, or in the parts of the Praetorians, the Roman guards, in Rome).
Philippians I, 14 — ‘ἐν κυρίῳ’ - ‘en kyrio’ - ‘in the Lord’.

Luke XI, 35 — ‘ἐν σοὶ’ - ‘en soi’ - ‘in you’.
Luke XI, 37 — ‘Ἐν δὲ τῷ λαλῆσαι’ - ‘en de to lalesai’ - ‘in the time of speaking; while speaking; in the speech’. That is, ‘during’. It is a common expression with this meaning. ‘παρ’ αὐτῷ' - par auto

. The preposition ‘para’ in the form before the next vowel here with the dative case means ‘close to’, i.e. ‘together as a sign of friendship’.
