Glory Be to Jesus Christ!

Ephesians IV:17 — ‘ἐν κυρίῳ’ - ‘en kyrio’ - ‘in the Lord’. ‘ἐν ματαιότητι’ - ‘en mataioteti’ - ‘in vain’.
Ephesians IV, 18 — ‘ἐν αὐτοῖς’ - ‘en autois’ - ‘’in them‘’.
Ephesians IV, 19 — ‘εἰς ἐργασίαν’ - ‘eis ergasian’ - ‘into licentiousness’. It indicates the direction of fall, decline. ‘ἐν πλεονεξίᾳ’ - ‘en pleonexia’ - ‘in greed’.
Ephesians IV, 21 — ‘ἐν αὐτῷ’ - ‘en auto’ - ‘in Him; by Him’. Both translations are possible, the first emphasising that Jesus is the Example for teaching, and the second that He Himself teaches the faithful. ‘ἐν τῷ Ἰησοῦ’ - ‘en to Iesou’ - ‘in Jesus’.
Ephesians IV, 24 — ‘ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ’ - ‘en dikaiosyne’ - ‘in righteousness; by righteousness’. More likely the former, although the latter is also possible. The first says that human beings are created and develop by living righteously and holily, while the second says that human beings are called to righteousness and holiness because they are created in such a way as to be in accordance with righteousness and holiness, as if by them
. In both cases, it is said that a person is called to righteousness and holiness because it leads to their creation and life, to the life-giving
that God does.
