(Philippians I, 1-7)
Philippians I, 1 — ‘ἐν Χριστῷ’ - ‘en CHristo’ - ‘in Christ’. ‘ἐν Φιλίπποις’ - ‘en Philippois’ - ‘in Philippi’.

Philippians I, 2 — ‘ἀπὸ θεοῦ πατρὸς’ - ‘apo theou patros’ - ‘from God the Father’. The preposition ‘apo’ emphasises that grace and peace are God's gifts to people.

Philippians I, 4 — ‘ἐν πάσῃ δεήσει’ - ‘en pase deesei’ - ‘in every supplication’.

Philippians I, 5 — ‘εἰς τὸ εὐαγγέλιον’ - ‘eis to euangelion’ - ‘in the Gospel’. ‘ἀπὸ πρώτης ἡμέρας’ - ‘apo protes emeras’ - ‘from the first days’.

Philippians I, 6 — ‘ἐν ὑμῖν’ - ‘en ymin’ - ‘in you’.

Philippians I, 7 — ‘ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ’ - ‘en te kardia’ - ‘in the heart’. ‘ἔν τε τοῖς δεσμοῖς’ - ‘en te tois desmois’ - ‘as in chains’. ‘καὶ ἐν τῇ ἀπολογίᾳ’ - ‘kai en te apologia’ - ‘’so also in defence'.

(Luke XI, 29-33)
Luke XI, 31, 32 — ‘ἐν τῇ κρίσει’ - ‘en te krisei’ - ‘in the court; in judgement’. ‘ἐκ τῶν περάτων τῆς γῆς’ - ‘ek ton peraton tes ges’ - ‘from the ends of the earth’. That is, from where.

Luke XI, 32 — ‘εἰς τὸ κήρυγμα’ - ‘eis to kerygma’ - ‘in preaching; for preaching; while preaching’. That is, through the preaching, during it.

Luke XI, 33 — ‘εἰς κρύπτην’ - ‘eis krypten’ - ‘in secret; in a hiding place’. ‘ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον’ - ‘hypo ton modion’ - ‘under the vessel’. The preposition ‘hypo’ is here with the accusative.
