Since in the works published at the following links:

it is written that the use of prepositions is important for the correct understanding of important and actual issues, in particular the issue of power, I am writing commentaries on the use of these prepositions. As a piece of advice on how to read the text, you can read the verse in translation and/or in the original (if you have the opportunity), and then the commentary on prepositions here. Next, you need to understand which part of the verse the commentary refers to, and consider what it affirms — or less often, denies — that is essential to understanding. This thoughtful reading helps to deepen understanding and protects against the mistakes mentioned above.

Since yesterday was a holiday, yesterday's readings have been moved to today, which is why I am presenting them together.

(1 Thessalonians V, 9-13, 24-28 )
1 Thessalonians V, 9 — ‘εἰς ὀργὴν ἀλλὰ εἰς περιποίησιν σωτηρίας’ - ‘eis orgen alla eis peripoiesin soterias’ - ‘for wrath, but to obtain salvation’. The preposition ‘eis’ indicates the purpose of the action.

1 Thessalonians V, 12 — ‘ἐν ὑμῖν’ - ‘en hymin’ - ‘in you; among you’. ‘ἐν κυρίῳ’ - ‘en kyrio’ - ‘in the Lord’.

1 Thessalonians V, 13 — ‘ἐν ἀγάπῃ’ - ‘en agape’ - ‘in love; with love’. Both translations are possible. ‘ἐν αὐτοῖς’ - ‘en autois’ - ‘in yourselves’.

1 Thessalonians V, 26 — ‘ἐν φιλήματι ἁγίῳ’ - ‘en philemati agio’ - ‘in a holy kiss; with a holy kiss’. I wrote about this in more detail, please refer to the links:

(2 Corinthians XI, 1-6)
2 Corinthians XI, 3 — ‘ἐν τῇ πανουργίᾳ’ - ‘en te panourgia’ - ‘in craftiness; with craftiness; in adroitness; with adroitness; skilfully’. All translations are possible. ‘ἀπὸ τῆς ἁπλότητος’ - ‘apo tes haplotetos’ - ‘from simplicity’. ‘εἰς Χριστόν’ - ‘eis CHriston’ - ‘in Christ; to Christ’. The second option is preferred here, which means that the simplicity mentioned leads to Christ Himself.

2 Corinthians XI, 6 — ‘ἐν παντὶ φανερώσαντες ἐν πᾶσιν εἰς ὑμᾶς’ - ‘en panti phanerosantes en pasin eis hymas’ - ‘everywhere manifested in everything among you’.

(Luke XXI, 37 — XXII, 8; XIII, 18-29)
Luke XXI, 37, 38 — ‘ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ’ - ‘en to hiero’ - ‘in the temple’. ‘εἰς τὸ ὄρος’ - ‘eis to oros’ - ’on the mountain‘.

Luke XXII, 3 — ‘εἰς Ἰούδαν’ - ‘eis Ioudan’ - ‘into Judas’. ‘ἐκ τοῦ ἀριθμοῦ τῶν δώδεκα’ - ‘ek tou arithmou ton dodeka’ - ‘from the number of the twelve’. The preposition ‘ek’ here indicates a choice among a group of people.

Luke XXII, 7 — ‘ἐν ᾗ’ - ‘en he’ - ‘into which’.

Luke XIII, 19 — ‘εἰς κῆπον’ - ‘eis kepon’ - ‘in the garden’. ‘εἰς δένδρον’ - ‘eis dendron’ - ‘(turned) into a tree’. The preposition ‘eis’ here indicates a transformation into something. ‘ἐν τοῖς κλάδοις’ - ‘en tois kladois’ - ‘in the branches’.

Luke XIII, 21 — ‘εἰς ἀλεύρου σάτα τρία’ - ‘en aleurou sata tria’ - ‘in three sata (measures) of flour’.

Luke XIII, 22 — ‘εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα’ - ‘eis Ierosolyma’ - ‘to Jerusalem’.

Luke XIII, 25 — ‘ἀφ’ οὗ ἂν' - aph hou an - since, if; if. A phrase that indicates that the following events may occur under certain conditions.

Luke XIII, 26 — ‘ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις’ - ‘en tais plateiais’ - ‘in the streets’.

Luke XIII, 27 — ‘ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ' - ap emou - from me; from Me. The preposition ‘apo’ in its form before the next vowel indicates here that they will have to move away completely, entirely.

Luke XIII, 28 — ‘ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ’ - ‘en te basileia’ - ‘in the Kingdom’.
