it is written that the use of prepositions has important significance for the correct understanding of important and topical questions, particularly the question of power, I am writing comments regarding the use of precisely these prepositions. As advice regarding reading what is written — one can read the verse in translation or/and original (whoever has such possibility), and then the corresponding comment regarding prepositions here. Then it is necessary to understand which part of the verse the comment concerns, and also to consider what essential for understanding it affirms — or more rarely — denies. Such thoughtful reading helps to deepen understanding and protects from the mentioned mistakes.

1 Thessalonians V, 3 — 'ἐν γαστρὶ' - 'en gastri' - in the belly; in the womb
. That is a pregnant woman.
1 Thessalonians V, 4 — 'ἐν σκότει' - 'en skotei' - in darkness
.
The Apostle Paul calls to soberness, watchfulness, expectation of the Second glorious Coming of Jesus Christ.
As the Lord Jesus Christ says that His Coming in glory will be unexpected, so Paul here repeats this thought.

1 Thessalonians V, 9 — 'εἰς ὀργὴν ἀλλὰ εἰς περιποίησιν σωτηρίας' - 'eis orgen alla eis peripoiesin soterias' - for wrath, but so that to obtain salvation
. The preposition 'eis' indicates here the purpose of the action.
1 Thessalonians V, 12 — 'ἐν ὑμῖν' - 'en hymin' - in you; among you
. Where, among whom. 'ἐν κυρίῳ' - 'en kyrio' - in the Lord
. In Whom.
1 Thessalonians V, 13 — 'ἐν ἀγάπῃ' - 'en agape' - in love; with love
. Both variants of translation are possible. 'ἐν αὐτοῖς' - 'en autois' - in themselves

1 Thessalonians V, 26 — 'ἐν φιλήματι ἁγίῳ' - 'en philemati hagio' - in a holy kiss; with a holy kiss

The Apostle Paul testifies about hope in the Lord, even when a person does not have proper watchfulness. The Lord in a special way cares for the faithful, but if they are inattentive, then this in no way contributes to drawing near to God, but distances from Him, which is why it must be avoided.
Also the Apostle Paul calls to honour the labourers in the vineyard of the Lord, in particular church ministers, and all who labour for the sake of the Lord in good and truth.

Luke XI, 49 — 'εἰς αὐτοὺς' - 'eis autous' - to them
. Here the preposition 'eis' indicates the direction of motion. 'ἐξ αὐτῶν' - 'ex auton' - from them
. The preposition 'ek' in its form before the following vowel indicates here the choice from a certain group.
Luke XI, 50, 51 — 'ἀπὸ καταβολῆς' - 'apo kataboles' - from the foundation
. The preposition 'apo' indicates here the beginning of the time count. 'ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης' - 'apo tes geneas tautes' - from this generation
. Here the preposition 'apo' indicates the responsibility of this generation.
Luke XI, 51 — 'ἀπὸ αἵματος' - 'apo haimatos' - from blood
. The preposition 'apo' indicates the beginning from which the count is made.
Luke XI, 54 — 'ἐκ τοῦ στόματος' - 'ek tou stomatos' - from the mouth
. The preposition 'ek' indicates here the source of origin.
Luke XII, 1 — 'Ἐν οἷς' - 'En hois' - In those (times)
. 'ἀπὸ τῆς ζύμης τῶν Φαρισαίων' - 'apo tes zymes ton Pharisaion' - from the leaven of the Pharisees
. The preposition 'apo' indicates here that it is necessary to beware completely, entirely, wholly.

. The preposition 'apo' indicates that the object of fear becomes separate from that with which it is connected, that is, for a person who fears other people, fear becomes something independent, separate.
Luke XII, 5 — 'εἰς τὴν γέενναν' - 'eis ten geennan' - into Gehenna
